Traditional Super/Brood Box
A super is a box that goes on top of your hive for the bees to store honey in. This super is a traditional Langstroth box with 8 x wax foundation sheets (the same as the basic hive).
A brood box goes under your super and is where the queen lays eggs and the hive hatches brood or new bees. The same box can be either a brood box or a super depending on where you put it.
