Hives delivered to Berry

Congratulation to Dave and Michelle from just outside of Berry who accepted delivery of not one, but two hives this week. The first eight frames went into their existing flow hive, which then provided an empty box to become a super on their second, Langstroth hive. Dave was able to assist with transferring the bees across and all seems to be going well so far. Both hives have been set up on a low bench (to save bending over while working the hives) with good morning sun and afternoon shade. The hives are also close to a chicken coop, which can help with pest control. And what a great view the bees have as they come out every morning to forage!
